    National Day 2023 under the sign of the climate emergency and human rights | City of Geneva

    The program for August 1, 2023 will be dedicated to the climate emergency and to human rights. Zeinab Mousavi and Mana Mandegar, two Iranian women who had to flee their country and who have applied for asylum in Switzerland, will be the guests of honor.

    These choices underline the desire of the Mayor, Mr. Alfonso Gomez, to show that an ecological world can be festive and to make visible the situation of women who are fighting for their freedom and their lives, as well as the struggle of an entire people against the oppression.

    Entertainment, shows and concerts

    From 3 p.m.the population will be able to participate various events, shows and concerts for young and oldwhile taking advantage of many culinary specialties largely vegetarian and local drinks.

    There evening will start at 7 p.m. over there official ceremony with the reading of the founding act of the Swiss Confederation, and will continue with various concerts and shows.

    A day at La Grange Park which promises to be full of surprises!
