Brussels issues instructions on how to communicate with Russian diplomats

The European External Action Service has sent “instructions on how to communicate with Russian diplomats” to the EU’s permanent missions to the UN in Geneva, a diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.

“Avoid them, don’t take pictures or shake hands with them!”

The instructions were received by the EU Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva, which then distributed them to other missions.

The document contains instructions on “how to communicate with Russian diplomats.” It recommends “avoiding events involving Russian diplomats,” and if you do attend such an event, “avoid being filmed with Russian diplomats.”

According to the source, this is the second such document distributed by the service.

It is noted that employees of the Russian diplomatic mission have already felt the impact of these measures. For example, they were discouraged from shaking hands during meetings and were even asked to leave an event organized by one of the diplomatic missions.
