    Vestas Secures Two New Orders in Germany Totaling 58 MW

    (IN BRIEF) Vestas has secured two new wind turbine orders in Germany, totaling 58 MW. Both projects, WP Brand (36 MW) and WP Lautertal (22 MW), are with Uhl Windkraft and will feature V172-7.2 MW turbines. The projects are scheduled for delivery and commissioning between 2026 and 2027, with a 25-year service agreement included.     (PRESS RELEASE) AARHUS, 10-Aug-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Vestas Wind Systems A/S has announced two new orders in Germany, contributing a total of 58 MW to the company’s Q3 order intake for 2024. Both projects are with Uhl Windkraft and involve the installation of V172-7.2 MW turbines.

    The first project, WP Brand, will feature five turbines with a total capacity of 36 MW. Turbine delivery is scheduled for Q1 2026, with commissioning expected by Q3 2026. The second project, WP Lautertal, will consist of three turbines totaling 22 MW, with delivery planned for Q2 2026 and commissioning by Q4 2026. Both projects include a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service agreement.
